I just wanted to email you all to let you know that I just got my score from the FAR section...I was 100% confident that I had failed...but I got a 78!!! This was my first time to take the exam and my first experience with a simulation! I even got a strong performance in written communication. I am 100% convinced that the pointers in written communication gave me the points I needed to pass the exam! Please feel free to post this on your website. If you could also please provide me the next date you all will be in Texas for Audit and Regulation I would appreciate it!

Dear Al,
I wanted to let you know that I passed regulation after your recent Philly seminar with a 91. I did two pass throughs with the review software that I had, and then for the last day or so just worked the questions provided in the AIS materials. It is my opinion that the AIS seminar and material was the key.
Going into the exam there were a few areas that I was not feeling confident about. But the AIS questions, especially the matching, really helped me nail down those areas. I felt much more confident after doing those questions. Further, your advice on how to handle the simulations was invaluable and made me feel very confident about my time management.
Thank you again for your help. I’m going to be taking BEC in about two weeks and I’ll let you know how I do. Just get a seminar together for Philly for October for Financial so I can pass that one with your help too!

Al,
I got my Audit score back and with your course and my Becker questions
and text, I was able to pass, finally. I made an 89 this time around
when I had made in the low 70's my two previous attempts. I think it
has a lot to do with more focus and effort being made this time.
I am sitting for Reg next week but am sure I can pass that one again
as I have passed it with 90's twice already. I will be signing up for
the BEC class on July 23 but would like to also take your FAR class in
Nashville if you offer it there this fall. Will that be a possibility
for August or September? I really need to get this test done by the
end of the year or I do not think I will ever get time to get back to
it.

Thanks for the information. I took your intensive course in Dallas November 1982. Passed all 4 parts in one sitting after failing all 4 parts on my previous 2 attempts. Now my son is taking the exam and is having trouble getting BEC passed. I am recommending your course to him based on my experience of 25+ years ago. I just wanted to drop a little email to say THANK YOU. I attended the November 2009 seminar for FAR in TAMPA. Going into the course I failed this section three times using different materials (Gleim, Bisk, and CPA Excel). My scores were 64, 66, and 66. I passed the other three sections, but lost credit in one and would lose credit in the other two after the next testing window. This course was my last resort. The seminar was very intense and fast paced. I felt like I was run over with a truck on Sunday afternoon. I then went home and worked the “homework” problems and studied the material. 10 days later I sat for the exam. I just received my score 45 minutes ago and I passed with an 80. Thanks again.

I would like to report that with your help and materials I have now passed the CPA exam! This is a huge milestone for me and I thank you very much for your time and effort. In addition to your materials, you have written several positive and helpful emails to give me direction regarding study material/topics.
Over the course of approx. 1.5 years, I purchased ebooks from AIS for REG, AUD and BEC. Additionally, last summer/fall I attended both AUD and FAR classes in Nashville, TN.
Thank you very much for your time and energy. Prior to your courses I had taken Becker CPA review and was completely overwhelmed and therefore unprepared to pass any sections. Their approach to studying is impossible, as they cover every potential item that could be on the exam.

I take this opportunity to thank you very much for your valuable guidance and happy to tell you that I passed with a score of 82. With this I finished all four parts and looking forward to get my license.
This was the best investment of money possible for my career. I started my preparations for CPA about 3 years ago after getting laid of from an accounting job. Even though I pass BEC and REG on first appearances, and later on all subsequent appearances due to loss of credit. FAR was little harder and it took me three chances to pass FAR. All my attempts on AUD end with scores of 71 to 74 only. I was so desperate at this time due to the fact that I was going to lose credit for FAR if I did not pass AUD.
I was getting your brochures all the time, but this time I made a serious decision for a try and I got it. This was the best money I ever spent. I will definitely recommend your review course to my friends.
I follow your notes and instructions, especially on the timing. I spend exactly 1.5 minutes for each objective type questions. As instructed by your good selves, with this timing, I recheck the answer and was able to correct about 8 answers which was answered wrong initially. Also for simulation, I write only eight sentences on communication which gives enough time for concentrating on other questions.

I attended the Reg section seminar in Fort Worth last month. I had taken this section after studying material from another review course and made a 70. I am very happy to report that I passed with an 84.

Finally got my AUD score. Passed with an 80. Scored well on the simulations. I think your approach to the exam is right on target. I've used your class on all 3 exams so far and my scores have been 77-86-80. My mindset has been solely to get a passing grade. Not an A, just a passing grade. In some ways, I think that is harder than going all out and trying to ace the exam. It adds a different kind of stress.
Anyway, will be looking to close this out with REG in late August. Will be taking your REG class in mid August.

I am very interested in taking BEC and AUD in Nashville in July. Thanks for your help, in most of the exams I could visuslize how you explain the concepts and I was able to apply them. I believe taking the seminars a couple of weeks before the exams was the key to my success.
Frankly, I found the seminars very useful - my scores were BEG 78, AUD 81, REG 87, and 77 for FAR (I had to take FAR twice, the first one was 73). I went through both the seminar and self-study materials twice, for each course and that was all I needed. This shows that your course is straight to the point, with no need for additional resources.
I taught I was gonns go crazy when I pass the exam, but when I got the results for FAR, I just smiled and put it away.

Just wanted to let everyone know that I passed the Auditing portion with a 90! I have taken Auditing twice before and made a 70 and then a 68. I took the seminar in Dallas in February and took the exam just 6 days later. Before I took the seminar I was almost intimidated by the Auditing portion. But this time I felt so much more confident and knowledgeable going into the exam; I knew when I left that I passed. I just wanted to thank you so much. The best news is that I am done! I have passed all of the exams and have applied for my license. So I don’t need anymore help, but I would definitely recommend your services to all of my other friends looking to pass the exam.

I took the AIS CPA review course in early August 2007 in Houston that
you taught. I wanted to let you know that I passed both sections, AUD
and FAR, with scores 78 and 81, respectively. I think the most helpful
thing you shared was the test taking strategy. The class was great
using lectures and problems to reinforce the lectures, but I know the
best thing for me was the strategy. In both simulations, I wrote the
essays first using the skills taught by AIS, and I am convinced this
made a major difference in my score. I am taking the review course in
Houston for the other two sections from October 19th-21st.

I must say that your class was exactly what I needed. I went from a 65 on my first attempt to a 76. I think that I wouldn't be any more satisfied had I gotten a 96!!

I would like to thank you as I have passed my final section of the CPA exam. I took the AIS class for REG, BEC and FAR and passed each section immediately following each of the classes. My scores increase from 67 to 78 in REG, 73 to 82 in BEC, and 63 to 76 in FAR.
I completed the FAR class, studied the materials and answered the questions in both the class work and homework until I answered each of them correctly twice and understood why the answer was correct. It was just enough, and I am very thankful to you for the materials, strategies and teaching that was enough to get me over the hump. Thank you.

I attended your FAR class in Nashville on August 18 and 19. I just received word today that I passed FAR with a 79!
I had been studying using another company's review material. I was not feeling very confident as the date approached for me to take the exam. That is when I received your brochure in the mail. It just so happened that your class ended the day before I was scheduled to take the exam.
Your class was great... just what I needed to refresh my memory on all the possible topics in FAR. As I shared with you that day, a number of topics I was struggling with became much clearer. The exam covered a lot of material we talked about in class; in fact, the simulations were similar to problems we worked in class. Without your class, I know I would not have passed. The strategy you talked about worked great.

The last time I sat for FAR, I missed it by a point. So I only needed one
point from attending your seminar. It gave me ten!
It really helped me to cover this material over two days. The last time I
took an exam cram course, I spent three times the money for half the time.
In the end, I didn't feel like it helped me on the section. The class
format also worked for me, as I was able to recall many of the strategies
and teaching points during the exam. Lastly, I would support the comment
in your material to schedule the exam section within a week of attending
the seminar.
Thank you again for devoting the time to teach future CPA's how to prepare
for and successfully pass this beast of an exam. These results are a major
confidence booster going into my last section.

I wanted to let you all know that I passed FAR! It was the last section of the CPA exam for me! I have the ethics exam and a few more credits to get as MT has the 150 hour credit rule, but this was the big one! I’m happy to say I have no more books to order from AIS, and no more seminars to take. However, I am extremely grateful for all of you! You’ve all been helpful and the idea behind AIS really does work. I especially want to thank Yvette for such great customer care. She really understands what it is all about. She spent hours with me on the phone through my struggle of this exam and helping me in choosing Excel Learning Systems. I really needed that extra amount of knowledge to pass. Thanks to all of you!

I attended your FAR seminar at BWI in October 2007 and just received my score for that section– 82!
The seminar served as a very effective wrap up and supplement to my home study materials and program. I actually documented how many points I thought I would pick up from the seminar based on how many pointers I picked up from you. After taking the test, it came to about five points – enough to get me over the hurdle with a few left over for bragging rights.

I took the REG seminar in July, sat for the exam in August, and passed with
79%! The seminar was extremely informative. The summary and homework
problems were helpful in reinforcing the concepts and were not voluminous.

Great news, I finally got my results on Friday from the REG section that I sat for on April 1st. I passed! Yippee! That is 2 down and 2 more to go. I can’t remember if I told you, I’m sure I must have, but I’m getting married in August, so I’m not taking/doing anything with the exam until after the wedding, but I’d like to purchase excel learning systems for FAR and Audit and take a course for the Oct/Nov window as soon as they know when/where they will be. I will probably wait to buy it until beginning of September so I can study the books and then be ready for the course in Oct/Nov. I’ll probably take my tests end of November. I sat for Audit and FAR in April as well, and I got a 70 on Audit, so I know I just need some touching up on that section. I should probably sit for Audit first in the testing window and FAR last since I know Audit the best. That is the section I’ve taken so many times and just haven’t gotten over the hump. I passed Audit under the old rules, but didn’t pass another section, so I didn’t get to keep it! Anyways! I just wanted to let you know my results and how much I appreciate everything that you’ve done for me. You’ve spent lots of time with me over the phone and email and I’m just one student! I attended your seminar in Dallas this January and just got the results of BEC. I increased my score by 6% and enough to finally pass. Ken Smith gives a great review course. I put a lot less time into studying everything and focused on the course lecture and materials.

I am a Japanese who attended your AUD seminar at Cherry Hill in October last year.
In November I took REG and AUD exams. On the last day of 2005, I received the result which said PASS for both. In fact, together with BEC and FAR I passed in last February and August respectively, the letter from NASBA showed four CREDITs. My AUD result was 82. I finally overcame the high wall of 75.
November exam was my fourth try on REG and AUD. Your advice about Communication "include keywords" and "check spelling" changed my writing style and I am sure that gave me extra points which I had not been able to obtain before. Also, your tables explaining different kinds of letters and attestations helped me a lot in sorting out my knowledge.
Thank you for your seminar. I owe you my success.
I am going back to Japan this week. In job hunting, I will be proud to write US CPA in my carriculum vitae.

Hi. I am taking AUD and REG in January (I ran out of time in my 6 month window) and would love to take a course for either of those. My preference is in Nashville but will consider Tampa or Chicago. Also, I will be looking for a course for FAR after January. I took the course for BEC in Nashville and just found out today that I got an 80. YEAH! The class was a great help! I’M SO EXCITED !!!!!
I just got my score in the mail today from the last CPA exam section (FAR) …. And YIPPPPEEEE … YAHHOOOO…… HIP, HIP, HURRAY !!!........ I PASSED !!!! I’ve probably told you this before … but I was able to pass 3 of the 4 sections on the first try, and was within 3 points on the first try for FAR. And now, after a little extra review …. I have tackled that one too. Thanks so much for all of your help along the way. Your study materials and seminars were a great tool for me. I’m sure I couldn’t have done it without them !!

Hey Al!! I got my results from the april/may window and I passed FAR (83) the last part I had…. So I’m a CPA!!!!!!!!!!!!! This is after 5 years of trying and taking your seminar on and off. I could not have done as well if I had not taken your seminar. It took me several times, but that’s just the way I am with test taking. I wanted to thank you guys soooooo much for your dedication to the seminar. I admire and hold you accountable for the reason I kept going in taking it and not giving up. I wanted a live class – not an internet course. I did not want to travel several times a week for a long course. I compared your seminars to Becker-Conviser’s exam cram and discovered their cram courses are not stand alone seminars. They are designed to complement either the online course or the regular classes.

Hi! I took your BEC seminar in February (Clearwater, FL). I just got the results back and I'm happy to report that I PASSED! Since this was my first try, I was thrilled! I wanted to say "thanks," because I know your course made a big difference. The course did a great job of "bringing it all together" so that I didn't waste a lot of time going over material that was irrelevant. It's easy to feel overwhelmed with the amount of material that could be tested, but the course did a nice job of focusing on the important topics.

Although I was not expecting to see the results of the exam until mid-April, the post person brought them to the mailbox on Saturday. Remember, my last score on Regulation was a 73, and before that was a 74. I came to Tampa hoping to pick up a few points only.
It appears that I should have only stayed for one day as I received more points than I needed. The score I received was an 82, an average gain of 8.5 points.

Just wanted to let you know that I received my results from the BEC section and I PASSED!!!! Yahoo! I took this section on February 24, only to learn the next day that the section that I had taken had not been “released”. They gave me the option of retaking the test within a two week period, or waiting until June to receive my scores. I chose to retake the test and did so on March 10th. I just received my passing scores last night and was very relieved and excited to realize I had passed. I’m looking forward to the FAR review seminar in Nashville at the end of April. I hope all is well with you. I wanted to let you know that I received my FAR & AUD scores and was thrilled to learn that I had passed with scores of 90 and 82 respectively. I truly appreciate all of your help and encouragement throughout my preparation this summer. I guess all of the hard work paid off.
However, I still have 2 more sections to go. Thus, I will most likely be contacting you at the beginning of next year to inquire about the locations in which you are offering the REG & BEC seminars. I am currently in my 1st year of law school and the TX State Board is only giving me 18 months to pass the other 2 sections before my current credits expire. Therefore, I will most likely be preparing for those sections this summer.

I just wanted to say THANKS!!! for a wonderful seminar - I passed all four
parts of the exam this past November! I would not have been able to do it
without you and your course!! My studying for the November exam was not
going well and then I saw the ad for your course - it sounded like my last
hope and I signed up.
In May my scores were 69, 71, 72 and 85 (FARE). This November my scores
were 77 (AUD), 81 (LAW) and 89 in both FARE & ARE!! Thank you, thank you,

It's me again. Found out Monday i had past ARE - so it's over. Thanks to you and AIS i never have to go through that again!! Got my actual score yesterday - i increased my score from 64 in May 03 to a 84 November 03. After your class i finshed in two sittings!!! The results don't lie.....
Now the only thing i'm waiting on is that piece of paper that allows me to sign "Certified Public Accountant."

I took the seminar in two parts - half in Nashville/half in Dallas. After
the exam my head really hurt - I just knew that i had wasted my time and
yours. BOY, WAS I WRONG!!! Got my results last week and passed three
parts!!! My score Increased in Audit by 7 points, FARE by 26 and Legal
stayed the same. Went down in ARE - gp figure - but I'm sold on your class.
I will be in the Seminar in October to concentrate on TAX.

I went from a 69 in November to and 89 in May! That completes all 4 sections so I will not be coming to anymore of your classes. Just to let you know. I passed two parts of the CPA exam. This was my second time taking the entire exam, and I raised my scores on three parts, tremendously. I passed Audit (raised my score 16 points) and ARE (raised my score 16 points). I did not pass FARE or Law. However, I raised my score on FARE by 13 points and Law by 4 points.
I owe passing the two parts to you guys. Your course was great, and I will be seeing you in Atlanta in October to take Law and FARE.

I just wantd to let you know that I passed the exam! I had two parts left - ARE and FARE. I studied for ARE - I was close last time and I just took your class for FARE. I went from a 62 to an 81!! I really just paid really close attention in your class, did the homework problems the first night and then read over all of the notes that I made before the exam. I did do the practice questions that you distributed. I just wanted to let you know!
I am thrilled. I was so intimidated by FARE but I learned so much in your class. I am definitely recommending it to everyone that did not pass.

I just wanted to let you know how I did on the past two exams after taking your class in October of 2002.
When I took the November 2002 Exam I was focusing on just passing ARE due to time constraints. I had ARE and FARE to complete. My best score in ARE was a 74. After I took your class, I scored an 86 and got credit for the section.
On the May 2003 exam all I had left was FARE. My best score there was a 66. I received my grades yesterday and scored the highest grade I had on all sections an 89. Now all my sections are complete.
There is no doubt it had to do with your class and the materials you provided. I just wanted to say thank you.

I received my notification on Wednesday and got the great news that I passed
the last section (LPR) with a score of 92! As you may recall, I first took
the exam in November 2002, after participating in your review course in
Pleasanton in October, and passed three of the four sections (AUD 75, ARE
75, FARE 80, LPR 70). I retook the LPR portion of your review class in
March 2003 in Dublin, and the review and your exam tips (plus the advantage
of only having to concentrate on one section!) certainly were instrumental
in my passing this time around.
Thank you for an excellent course. I would recommend it to anyone who is
looking for a concentrated way to prepare for the CPA exam.

needed, so I'm done. What a relief!
When I finished the test I kind of had a good feeling about it, but I
didn't want to believe or accept it. ... As I was leaving the test site,
however, secretly I was hopeful (but of course did not say it out loud
and certainly did not mention to anybody).

I learned last Monday that I passed the exam!!
I was down to a single section - Acct & Reporting, and enrolled in your Nashville class. Your class, coupled with another review course provider's study materials, got me over the hump. I earned an 84 - the highest score of any section!
This was actually my final opportunity to attempt a pass (per State Board guidelines, a conditioned candidate has 6 subsequent tries). Embarrassing to admit, but true. Now I'll be so much more marketable being official and the like. It is such a major relief to get this beast behind me, considering all the time, money in registration fees and mental sweat equity involved.

Al,
I attended the FARE portion of your CPA review course in Nashville, TN in October. I had struggled with that final section of the exam for two years.
Last week, I found out that I had FINALLY passed FARE with a 78 and completed the exam. This score was up from a 70 in May 2002.
When I studied for the exam last fall, I concentrated heavily on all the areas that were covered in your review course. I benefited greatly from your study course - especially the FASB updates. I think it eliminated hours of wasted study time by streamlining the review to cover only the essential testing areas.
I sat for the exam a total of 10 times - 9 times before attending your review course. I feel like a huge burden has been lifted!

Dear Al:
You might remember me. I am the guy who asked a lot of questions in the front seat in Nashville, TN, the German CPA student.
I have good news and bad news. I passed Audit with 81 and Financial Reporting with 78. In the other two parts the examiner rated me with 73. I passed the once which were more difficult I thought.
I am very, very happy that I passed two parts. So far my plan is to pass both exams in May 2003.

Hello,
I just wanted to say a great big thank-you for helping me pass the ARE section.
This is the fourth time I have taken it (and I also took another class) and all other times I got low 70's or high 60's.
I just couldn't seem to get those few extra points I needed.
When I read on your site that this course was for people with my type of grades, it sounded like just what I needed.
Apparently, it was! I got my results today and I passed! A 78!!! I am so ecstatic!
Three down and one to go. Now, I just have to pass FARE. I'll dig in and see what I can do. At least I have some new motivation now. Thanks again!!

Hi Dr. Francisco,
I want to personally thank you for your helping me pass my final part
(FARE) of the CPA exam. I attended the Charlotte, NC seminar this past October at which you were the instructor. I found your method of review to be most comprehensive. Obviously, you were "right on" with the coverage of materials that would be tested.
I felt that this was my last realistic chance at passing the exam since I'm 51, (52 soon). Had I not passed, I would have had only one more chance to take the exam and pass before losing all credit? I have an accounting and tax practice and would not have had the time (tax season) to adequately prepare for the next exam. I probably would not want to go through the necessary preparation for all four parts again, especially considering the change to the computerized exam.
Again, I am sincerely grateful for your part in my achieving a favorable life changing event.

Hi Al,
I took your review course this spring. I took all four parts of the class. I just wanted to let you know that the class worked for me because I have now passed three of the four parts of the exam. I went from a 67 in FARE to a 80, a 68 in ARE to a 75, a 55 in audit to a 76 and a 50 in law to a 57. So all I have left is law. I credit you class for my success in this exam and would just like to say thanks!

Dear Mr. Francisco,
I was going through some papers today and found your business card from the CPA Review course back in April.
I was the older woman who sat right in front of you and told you I had passed three sections of the exam the first time I took it and only needed to pass the auditing section for the May exam (my second try).
Well, I passed with an 80 in auditing. I really appreciated the tools you had gave us for organizing during the exam. I did just as you said ...
Another very useful tool was the grid for "departures from the standard opinion". That got me through an entire set of questions on the exam.
I'm very glad I took your review course. It was well worth the time and money spent. Thank you.

Thank you so much for the classes. It was well worth
the expense. I can tell you from my experience that I
actually studied less and was more prepared than with
any other study method I chose. Before I took you
classes I tried to us the Wiley Books and CDROM's
to no avail.
I am convienced that your study methods/techniques are
the best way to study, especially, if one really wants
to pass. It is probably even more essential now that
there are only 3 more tests under the old method.
At a recent CPA meeting, a University of Tennessee
Professor who is working on the conversion of the CPA
exam, explained, that the new test will be harder and
much more expensive. He believed that classes such as
yours will even be more important as the demands of
the new testing will cause more to seek extra help to
pass.
By the way, I am passing the information about your
classes on to everyone that I run into that is
considering sitting for the exam.

Your course works!!! No doubt about it. I passed AUDIT, LAW, and ARE in Nov-01, and just found out yesterday I passed FARE. What a blessing your course has been. I feel your essay strategy really put me over the top. I tried other "Study Courses" and they don't come close to your study strategies. You teach what it takes to make a 75, and my scores indicate that exact philosophy. After all, a 75 and a 95 are both passing scores !!!!

those two parts. I don't think I could have done it without your course. I have
been out of school 24 years and had never taken the exam until May 2001. I have
to admit I took another course for that exam, but was not successful. Too much
information, it was too overwhelming. Your course was to the point and consisted
of only what was needed to pass. It was also beneficial that it was held so
close to the time of the exam.
I would highly recommend your course to anyone, please feel free to use me as a

I am swamped at work today but wanted to stop & thank you for your help.
As I told you in previous e-mails, I had made three 71's, one 72, and one 73
(plus a couple in the high 60's) on Auditing. But the last few exams, I had
come within 2,3 or 4 points without passing Auditing.
And the last 2 exams before May, 2002, I made a 71 and a 70 in law.
I am 47 years old. I have not been "back to school" since I graduated from
college in 1977. I stayed home for 12 years with our children before
re-entering the workforce almost 10 years ago. I did not take the CPA Exam
the spring that I graduated. I was advised by a professor to wait and study
first. I later found out that he never sat for the CPA exam at all! I
took his advice and waited (I can't remember if I waited 6 months or a
year?) I fooled around the first 2 tries, just seeing if I thought I could
ever pass it. Then I studied some & passed Practice. It took a review
course offered by a local college on Saturdays for 6 weeks to help me pass
Auditing over 20 years ago! I was 7 months pregnant with our first child at
that time. I later passed Theory but lost my condition before passing law.
I made a couple of 67's & a 68 on law, but never even did well enough to get
'regraded.'
When I started trying again (I think Nov, 1998), I passed Tax immediately
because that's been my specialty--especially when I started back to work in
1993. But I did not pass anything else. It took a couple of exams for me to
pass Tax and Financial together. On that exam, I made a 73 on Auditing, so
I felt confident that I would pass it soon. Four exams later, I was getting
really worried!
After coming so close so often, I felt that I had pretty good comprehension
of the material and finally figured out that I needed help on the essay
questions.
Your course was Exactly what I needed!
My grades were not great--a 76 on Law and a 78 on Auditing, but I passed
(Without being regraded!) and that's all that matters!
What my grades confirmed for me is that I would NEVER have passed without
your course!

I am thinking of appealing for a regrade on my fourth part, but will see
you again in May for the FARE section if I don't get credit for that part!

I took the (Brand X) 5 week cram course for the first exam (did all the work!) and was not impressed with my results. They tried to teach material and didn't focus enough on how to pass the exam. I have to friends enrolled in your Charlotte NC class for the may exam due to me telling them not to waist their time with (Brand X). I didn't have time to look at tax or financial before the exam. Your tip to pick the amount that least favors the tax payer or business worked!(you can quote me on that!)
Your class is the only class I am going to recommend to anyone trying to pass the CPA exam.
